US Secretary of State Antony Blinken praised the excellent historical relations the U.S had maintained with the Egyptian state since 1966, revealing that through Educational and Enterprise Programs, his country has helped millions of Egyptians to enhance their future.
On the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Blinken met with Sameh Shoukry in abid to enhance their dialogue and to continue to develop their relations. Both high-ranking officials also gave themselves the opportunity to exchange views on the state of their relations.
In the same spirit, Blinken revealed that the US-Egypt historical relations are still harmonious and strong. The American official said:" We have witnessed a remarkable development of the sense of cooperation in among different areas of the region."
"Our joint cooperation on emerging regional geopolitical developments has witnessed great progress in recent years," he added.
