Washington offered its condolences to the Sultanate of Oman over targeting a mosque in the capital, Muscat.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken expressed the United States' solidarity with the people of Oman and its appreciation for the efforts of the Royal Oman Police, the American "Al Hurra" channel reported on Thursday.
This came during a phone call Blinken made with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi to offer condolences over the horrific shooting incident that targeted worshipers in a mosque in Muscat.
The two ministers discussed ongoing diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.
