U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Cameron discussed the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, including efforts to increase the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza, in a phone call on Monday.
The U.S. Department of State, in a statement on its website on Tuesday, said that Blinken congratulated Cameron on his new appointments to the UK Cabinet and Peerage.
Moreover, Blinken and Lord Cameron underscored continuity in the U.S.-UK Special Relationship and its importance to regional and global security.
They also discussed the Israel-Hamas conflict, including efforts to increase the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza, in addition to relations with the PRC and cooperation to help Ukraine prevail against Russia’s war of aggression.
