Biden: West Pledges to Give Ukraine about 700 Tanks

The United States and its allies around the world have pledged to give Ukraine about 700 tanks and thousands of other armored vehicles.

US President Joe Biden said this statement at a news conference on Monday, following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv.

At the press conference, which was broadcast by NBC, the US president stated that the United States managed to gather a coalition of more than 50 countries stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.

"Together we’ve committed nearly 700 tanks and thousands of armored vehicles, 1,000 artillery systems, more than 2 million rounds of artillery ammunition, more than 50 advanced launch rocket systems <...> and air defense systems," he noted.

Biden mentioned all that is needed to defend Ukraine.
