American news site "Axios" reported that the administration of US President Joe Biden intends to attract hundreds of bloggers, including from "TikTok", to promote the candidacy of the current president in the 2024 election campaign.

The news site indicated that Democrats may, with the help of bloggers, raise Biden's reputation among emerging voters, who will play a decisive role in the party's success in the upcoming elections.

It is possible that emerging voters in particular will be able to confront a large number of followers of former President Donald Trump on social networks if he becomes a candidate from the Republican Party in 2024.

Axios added that there are 4 officials in the White House working to develop cooperation with bloggers, explaining that the priority of their work is to expand the number of supporters among young people as well as among residents of areas around cities.

The importance of this trend for the Biden administration is also supported by the fact that Rob Flairty, who heads the work with bloggers, has been appointed to the position of Assistant to the president, a high-level position that can be compared to the position of White House spokesman.

Despite the Biden administration's plan to use bloggers who develop their pages in "TikTok", this social network continues to face serious difficulties.

The Wall Street Journal previously quoted sources as saying that the White House is asking the owners of the network, that is, the company, “ByteDance,” to sell their shares, otherwise the application will be completely banned.

It pointed out that representatives of "the app adheres to the position that the forced sale will not address the alleged security risks.

On Monday, the number of TikTok consumers in the United States exceeds 150 million.

Because of the existing concerns, a ban on the use of "TikTok" has been imposed at the federal level, and similar restrictions have been imposed by local authorities in more than 30 US states.
