Biden Warns North Korea: Any Nuclear Attack on Allies Will Lead to “End” of Your Regime

US President Joe Biden warned that any North Korean nuclear attack on the United States or its allies will lead to the elimination of leader Kim Jong Un's regime.

"Any nuclear attack by North Korea against the United States or its allies is unacceptable and will lead to the end of any regime that takes such a move," Biden said during a joint press conference with his South Korean counterpart, Yoon Sok Yol.

For his part, South Korean President Yoon Yul said that peace with Pyongyang comes through demonstrating strength, stressing that the response to a possible nuclear attack from North Korea would include US atomic weapons.

The South Korean president confirmed that he agreed with his American counterpart that "achieving peace comes through surplus force and not through a false peace based on the goodwill of the other party."

In addition, Biden warned that his predecessor, Donald Trump, posed a "danger" to American democracy, the day after the 80-year-old president announced his candidacy for a second term in the 2024 elections.
