US President Joe Biden expressed his hope that a truce would be reached in Gaza by the month of Ramadan.
Biden said, "United States (US) is still working to reach a truce by the month of Ramadan, but we have not reached that yet."
Earlier on Friday, US President announced plans to carry out the first airdrop of food and supplies into Gaza, a day after the killing of Palestinians who were queuing to receive aid.
