U.S. President Joe Biden congratulated Muslim communities in the United States and Muslims around the world on the advent of Ramadan.
"We extend our warmest greetings and best wishes to the Muslim communities in the U.S. and around the world. Ramadan Kareem," Biden said in a statement.
He added," Since many of our American brothers start fasting tomorrow, we remember how difficult this year is in light of the Corona epidemic, as friends and loved ones cannot come together to celebrate, and many families will miss their loved ones during breakfast meals."
