US President Joe Biden considered that it is possible to avoid the outbreak of an "all-out" war in the Middle East.
Biden told reporters at the White House, in response to a question about how confident he was that this could happen: “I don’t think there will be an all-out war. I think we can avoid it.”
He added: "But there is still a lot to be done, a lot to be done yet."
Biden's statements came at a time when Israel is bombing various sites in Lebanon, especially the southern suburbs of Beirut, considering this a response to the Iranian missile attack that recently targeted it.
