Los Angeles-based rapper BIA released Thursday a remix of her single “Whole Lotta Money”, featuring American-Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj.
The track first appeared on BIA’s EP "For Certain", which was released late last year.

BIA appeared on Instagram Live with Minaj just before the song was released. The livestream also featured Lil Wayne and Drake.
The"Super Bass" uncovered that the track started with a DM, who stated that after hearing and loving “Whole Lotta Money,” she slid into BIA’s DMs to congratulate her on her success.
Minaj added that when she opened the DMs, she discovered that BIA had been DMing her for three years.
She also told the Los Angeles-based rapper how she appreciated BIA emphasizing every line in the song.
"It wasn’t just about a dope chorus and a beat. I don’t feel that a lot. I used to feel that and that used to be my inspiration for wanting to rap.” Minaj explained.
“I love you @NICKIMINAJ I know you didn’t have to and you did and you will always have my heart for that. Nothing will ever change that. Thank you.” BIA later tweeted.

The new single follows the recent streaming release of Minaj’s 2009 mixtape "Beam Me Up Scotty", which featured new songs including the Drake and Lil Wayne-featuring single “Seeing Green”.
She recently collaborated with Polo G on the new song “For the Love of New York”.
