Grammy Award winner Beyoncé and actress-singer Zendaya are in talks to star in a remake of the 1934 movie "Imitation Of Life".
The duo entered talks to craft a remake with Zendaya for a major role in the remake, while Beyonce is said to be keen to "really sink her teeth into" a juicy role.
The original movie was based on the 1933 novel of the same name. It featured Claudette Colbert as a struggling widow who takes in a Black housekeeper and her light-skinned daughter, as they start a business together.
In 1959, the novel was spawned into a second adaptation, starring Lana Turner.
Should Beyonce and Zendaya team up for the remake, it wouldn't be their first collaboration.
The "Spider-Man: No Way Home" actress had previously collaborated with Beyonce in her 2016 music video "All Night".
