A delegation from the Arab Federation for Digital Economy recently conducted a series of meetings with senior Chinese officials across various provinces, leading to the signing of multiple memorandums of understanding and agreements with prominent Chinese institutions and companies.
As reported by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), a TV BRICS partner, the purpose of these discussions was to deepen collaboration in areas such as digital trade, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and technological innovation.
The agreements focused on several key areas, including joint efforts to develop stable digital currencies, the creation of regional federation centers, and the organization of specialized events in data and tech innovation.
Chinese representatives expressed their willingness to support Arab digital transformation projects and to cooperate in building advanced data centers and smart infrastructure.
The report emphasized that these initiatives aim to enhance the role of Arab economies in the global digital landscape and support sustainable development aligned with the Arab digital economy strategy.
