Barcelona’s director of football Eric Abidal has met Liverpool’s star Mohamed Salah as both enjoyed their vacation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UEA).
Abidal’s wife posted a photo on her official Instagram page with Mo Salah, captioning, “Of course I’m Algerian and of course I appreciate Riyad Mehrez, but in that pic, it’s another brother Mo Salah.”
The Egyptian star made use of the international break and traveled to Dubai to enjoy his vacation after the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) cancelمed the Pharaohs’ national team camp. The EFA canceled the Egyptian national team camp because they did not appoint the new coach until now.
Some of Liverpool’s fans asked management to sell the iconic Egyptian star on Tuesday as they urged the management to spend the money on supporting the team with new players.
The fans asked the management to repeat the same step when they sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in 2018 and spent the money on supporting the team.
Mo Salah, who joined the Reds in 2017 from Rome for a €40 million, delivered an impressive performance with the Liverpool as he guided the Reds to win the UEFA Champions League in the last season after defeating Tottenham 2-0, as well as, he led them to win UEFA Super Cup after defeating Chelsea 5-4 on penalties.
