Israel and Bahrain will officially establish diplomatic ties on Sunday at a ceremony in Manama, after the two states reached a US-brokered normalisation deal last month, according to an Israeli official.
The official added that a visiting delegation from Israel and officials in Bahrain will sign a "joint communique which represents the establishment of full diplomatic ties."
Once the text is signed at a ceremony scheduled for Sunday evening, Israel and Bahrain will be free to open embassies in each other's countries, the official noted.
It is worth mentioning that, the UAE in August became the first Arab nation to normalize relations with Israel since Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994, followed after by Bahrain.
The US-brokered deals were signed at the White House on September 15.
The US administration is trying to broker other deals between the Jewish state and other Arab nations.
