Bahrain’s Foreign Minister (FM) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, met with Cyprus' Foreign Minister, Konstantinos Kombos, at the United Nations headquarters in New York on Sunday, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The two ministers discussed various avenues of bilateral cooperation across all fields to meet their mutual interests and aspirations.
According to the Bahrain News Agency, both sides also reviewed the latest regional developments and their impact on regional security and stability.
They discussed the ongoing war in Gaza, as well as Arab and international efforts aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire, protecting civilians and civilian infrastructure, securing the release of hostages and detainees, and delivering humanitarian aid to the civilian population.
