Avril Lavigne Got Engaged to Mod Sun

Rockstar Avril Lavigne announced her engagement to her friend and pop-punk fellow Mod Sun, the star announced on Instagram.

Lavigne shared the news on social media as a response to the proposal of Sun in Paris during a romantic boat ride down the River Seine last March.

The 37-year-old singer posted several photos and videos of the proposal, including a photo before the Eiffel Tower as the background of the photo.

In the same context, Mod Sun posted: "The day we met I knew you were the one.

Together forever til our days are done.

I had a dream where I proposed in paris.

I pulled out a ring + asked you to wear it.

I was on one knee as I looked in your eyes.

You’re too beautiful for my words to describe.

I grabbed your hand + took one last breath…
