CAIRO, Mar .27. (SEE)- By the middle of the next decade, Audi will have a total of 12 pure electric models on sale. When speaking of sedans E-Tron GT, will be joined by a smaller sedan similar in size with the A4 to go up against the Tesla Model 3, which based on VW's platform.
The first ''PPE'' based models are scheduled to hit the market towards the end of 2021. In Audi’s case, PPE will be used on a variety of models “covering the high-volume B through D segments.”Also, the A4-sized EV is earmarked for a 2023 release according to the British magazine, Motor News.
Audi isn't prioritizing electric sedans but is letting its customers know that they are coming. The bad news is Tesla is way ahead of the game, with the Model 3 becoming as popular in Europe as it was in America.
The firm has previewed nearly all of its upcoming battery-powered models with tech-packed, design-led concept cars and don’t think it will make an exception for this one. We expect to get a preview of it at a major auto show in the coming years.
