AUC Business School Enters Global Top 100 Ranking

The Onsi Sawiris School of Business at the American University in Cairo has been ranked among the top 100 business schools worldwide after receiving the prestigious Five Palmes of Excellence Emeritus Award from Eduniversal, a leading global ranking agency.

The recognition places the school as the top-ranked business school in Africa for 2025 and highlights its sustained excellence, having maintained the highest Five Palmes distinction for more than a decade. The award was presented during the 18th Eduniversal World Convention held in Indore, India, where Professor Ahmed Abdel-Meguid accepted the honor on behalf of the institution.

Dean Sherif Kamel said the achievement reflects a long-term commitment to developing responsible business leaders and producing impactful research, while continuously adapting programs to meet evolving market demands. He noted that the school’s progress is driven by the collective efforts of its academic community and its ability to stay relevant in a rapidly changing global landscape.

Eduniversal emphasized the school’s leadership in addressing challenges in emerging markets and its influence in areas such as governance, entrepreneurship, and family business development. Through initiatives like the AUC Venture Lab, the institution translates academic knowledge into practical solutions that contribute to economic resilience and sustainable growth across Africa and the Arab region.
