Aswan Governor Ashraf Attia met Wednesday with a joint delegation from the United Nations and the European Union to strengthen cooperation in sustainable development across the governorate.

During the meeting, Governor Attia highlighted the recent achievements of Aswan and emphasized the crucial role international partners play in advancing development efforts. He stressed the importance of prioritizing projects that enhance the quality of life for residents, particularly in remote and underserved areas.
The UN and EU delegation commended the collaborative efforts with Aswan Governorate and praised the progress made in alignment with Egypt's Vision 2030 for sustainable development.
The discussion also explored potential joint projects, including renewable energy initiatives and support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
