Rady said that the President also followed up the procedures and services provided to the people and citizens in those areas, especially medical convoys and family medicine units within the framework of the activities and efforts of the Decent Life Initiative.

The Foundation for ‘A Decent Life’ announced last week its full solidarity with the people of Aswan affected by the bad weather that the governorate was exposed to, and announced its full support to the people of Aswan.

This announcement comes in the context of the permanent keenness of the Decent Life Foundation to provide all means of a decent life for our people across the country and to stand by them in time of crisis.

The Foundation went to monitor the needs of the affected citizens and immediately began to rebuild the damaged houses in cooperation with the concerned and partner authorities.

The Foundation also seeks to empower citizens economically, and that in the form of multiple development projects, in addition to providing in-kind compensation to those affected by the floods.

The Decent Life Foundation will  launch a number of food and medical convoys for the people of the province, including a number of relief missions including first aid kits, foodstuffs, blankets, and other necessary materials.

This comes within the framework of the efforts made by the Foundation, in cooperation with the relevant state agencies, to stand by the citizens in times of disasters and crises, believing in the importance of community participation to provide relief to our people in all governorates of Egypt.

The Decent Life Foundation had announced, through its official pages, a donation campaign for the people of Aswan to support those affected by the floods whose homes collapsed, via the Foundation’s accounts in various banks inside and outside Egypt, or by making a donation via SMS to the number 9509.

It is worth noting that the Decent Life Foundation had presented many initiatives such as the Hemaya initiative, the Good Train initiative and other initiatives. It also launched many convoys in various governorates, since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

This comes from the Foundation’s belief in the importance of community participation in times of crisis to provide the necessary support to provide a decent and safe life for citizens.

Decent Life Initiative, launched by President  Sisi on January 2, 2019, to provide a decent life for the most vulnerable sects nationwide.

The Decent Life appeared as a proposed initiative in January 2019, and the youth of the PLP could present their visions and ideas for implementing the initiative at the seventh national youth conference, in accordance with the vision and strategy of Egypt 2030 and based on the first goal of the sustainable development goals that seek to eradicate poverty, as well as the second special goal to improve and raise the efficiency of living of the Egyptian citizen.
