Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Mohamed Farid inspected on Saturday a number of checkpoints stationed in North Sinai which fight eliminate terrorism.
Farid visited the North Sinai Permanent Operations Center to follow up the progress realized so far in combating terrorism..

He met with the North Sinai governor and a number of security leaderships, conveying President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s appreciation for the heroic actions and sacrifices made by army and police forces to uproot terrorism and restore normal life in central and northern Sinai.
Farid hailed excellent coordination and cooperation between the army and police forces stationed in the peninsula to maintain Egypt’s national security.
