The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States is organising an exhibition highlighting the ongoing Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, on the sidelines of the 163rd Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level.

The exhibition is part of the activities of the Joint Coordination Mechanism between the League of Arab States, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, and the African Union to support the Palestinian cause and to harmonise Arab, Islamic, and African positions on the international stage.

The exhibition—the second of its kind under the auspices of the Tripartite Mechanism—follows the African Union's hosting, in collaboration with the Arab League Mission to the African Union, of the first exhibition held on the margins of the 38th Ordinary Summit of the African Union, convened on 15–16 February 2025 in Addis Ababa.

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation is also set to organise a similar exhibition during its upcoming Ministerial Meeting in June 2025.

The exhibition documents the grave and escalating Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territory, with a particular focus on the Gaza Strip, where the occupying power has imposed a suffocating and comprehensive blockade on humanitarian aid. It further shows Israel's targeting of civilians and humanitarian workers, its intensified aerial and ground offensives, and its deliberate destruction of essential infrastructure related to food, water, and healthcare—acts committed in defiance of binding orders issued by the International Court of Justice and resolutions of the Security Council.

The exhibition illustrates how the occupying authorities persist in pursuing a systematic policy of extermination through widespread and deliberate destruction of cities and residential areas, the indiscriminate killing of civilians, the use of starvation and deprivation as instruments of war, and the collective punishment of an entire population—all amid the silence of international efforts to halt the ongoing atrocities.

In this context, the League of Arab States calls upon the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities by exerting immediate and effective pressure on the occupying power to cease its brutal and unlawful aggression against the Palestinian people. We urge a halt to the genocide, destruction, and forced displacement unfolding in the Gaza Strip.

We further call for the urgent opening of secure humanitarian corridors to ensure the unimpeded entry of medical supplies, food, fuel, and civil defense equipment, to support the faltering healthcare and emergency response systems and facilitate the recovery of martyrs and the wounded from beneath the rubble.

The General Secretariat reaffirms the necessity of ending the injustice and oppression endured by the Palestinian people, enabling them to exercise their legitimate right to self-determination, ending the occupation of their land, and establishing their independent state. It is imperative to safeguard what remains of the principles of international justice and the values of humanity—principles that have been flagrantly violated in Gaza under the eyes of the entire world, thus stripping them of their sanctity, symbolism, and moral force.
