Fayed Mustafa, assistant secretary-general of the League of Arab States and head of the Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories sector, met with Amjad Al-Adayleh, Jordan’s ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative to the Arab League, to discuss regional and international developments.
The talks focused on mounting challenges facing the Palestinian cause, particularly the dire humanitarian and living conditions in Gaza following two years of devastating war. The officials also addressed recent Israeli measures in the West Bank, including steps seen as aimed at expanding control over large areas of land in what they described as a practical embodiment of annexation and territorial expansion.
Both sides stressed that continuation of such policies would further exacerbate regional and international instability, underscoring the need for coordinated Arab efforts to confront ongoing developments.
