Representatives from the Arab League joined international delegations in Dublin on Wednesday for the eighth meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, hosted by Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador Dr. Faed Mustafa, Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories, emphasized the urgency of establishing a sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. Discussions focused on advancing the New York Declaration and navigating peace frameworks, including current U.S. initiatives.
Mustafa praised Ireland’s support for Palestinian rights while calling for immediate international pressure to accelerate humanitarian aid into Gaza. He urged the global community to transition toward early recovery and reconstruction efforts. Mustafa concluded that ending the Israeli occupation is the "only path" to regional stability, demanding an immediate halt to ongoing violations against the Palestinian people.
