The Arab League issued a stern condemnation on Saturday following Iranian missile attacks targeting several Arab nations, including Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.
In an official statement dated Feb. 28, 2026, the General Secretariat described the strikes as a "flagrant violation" of the sovereignty of peaceful nations that have consistently sought regional stability and avoided military conflict. The League expressed full solidarity with the targeted countries, affirming their right to self-defense to ensure the safety of their citizens.
The Secretariat highlighted that these nations had previously rejected military action against Tehran and engaged in extensive mediation efforts to prevent such an escalation. Warning of "grave danger" to regional security, the Arab League urged the international community to intervene immediately to de-escalate the violence and return to diplomatic dialogue to avoid further instability.
