On Sunday, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, headed to Moscow, on a working visit in response to an invitation from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Jamal Rushdi, AL Secretary-General's official spokesperson, stated that the visit would include an extensive meeting with Lavrov on a number of issues of interest to both sides, including regional and international issues, amid the ongoing escalation in the Gaza Strip.
