The League of Arab States will convene the 165th session of its Council at the level of foreign ministers next Sunday in a virtual meeting chaired by Bahrain.
According to an official statement, the meeting’s agenda will be limited to a single item: addressing the targeting of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states that have been subjected to Iranian attacks.
The statement added that all other issues normally discussed by the council will be postponed to a later session, as ministers focus exclusively on the recent developments and their implications for regional security and stability.
The council is expected to review the situation and discuss possible joint Arab measures in response to the incidents, reaffirming the importance of safeguarding the sovereignty of member states and maintaining regional peace and security.
