Apple announced on Friday that it will launch an update at the beginning of 2021, that would be an inconvenience to the Facebook network and the producers of advertising applications.
According to AFP, the ATT ''App Tracking Transparency'' feature will force mobile apps to request user permission to track them. This tracking allows networks and applications to sell advertising space to advertisers targeting users.
Meanwhile, Apple privacy chief Jane Horvath explained, that the firm intends to support online ads but without unfettered data collection. Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich explained that many consumers decided that the only way to get improved performance was to purchase a newer-model iPhone from Apple. Brnovich added: “Big Tech companies must stop manipulating consumers and tell them the whole truth about their practices and products.”
