Anwar El-Kamouni – Egyptian world tennis champion, Fight against cancer icon, and founder of the “Hope Giver” campaign— attended a gala dinner at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, in Paris.
He attended at a personal invitation of Manuel Collas de La Roche, President and Founder of the better world fund, the charitable organization that organized the event.
The invitation came in appreciation of the role that the Hope Givers campaign is currently playing at the global level, which launched in Switzerland in 2021 and has reached over 1.5 million people through the establishment and organization of 150 charitable events inside Egypt and abroad, with the participation of volunteers and organizations from more than 10 different countries.

The event was attended by many officials, celebrities, businessmen, and filmmakers from all over the globe including, Ivorian first lady Dominique Ouattara, Princess Ghida Talal, Sharon Stone, Amruta Fadnavis, and Kiera Chaplin – the descendant of Charlie Chaplin, the biggest star of the silent film era.
El-Kamouni announced that there will be cooperation between his campaign and the Better World Charitable Foundation, which was established in Paris in 2016 to serve humanity in general, sports and health in particular.
He stressed that the collaboration aims to serve humanity in all aspects of life, including health, sports, empowering women, and others.
El-Kamouni pointed out that La Roche works only with people or institutions that have global influence in the fields of sports, economics, cinema, and fashion.
