Angham Shuts Down Romance Rumours

Superstar, Angham's latest music video “Bahebk We Bartahlk" had sparked a state of controversy on social media.

Many social media users speculated that the superstar is sending a love letter to the new man in her life, who will be her fifth husband.

Angham denied in a phone interview with “ET bel Arabi” program the circulating rumors, adding that she ignores these rumors because they are very provocative to her.

She stated that the song is not directed for someone special, but targets a person who can comfortable to be around.

Recently, the superstar announced that she is collaborating once again with the head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Turki Al-Sheikh.

“A new and different production that brings me with poet #Turki _Al_Al-Sheikh, which is always unique. I am happy with my second collaboration with you and won’t be the last, God willing.” Angham tweeted on Twitter.

They collaborated for the first time in the 2018 song “Bakhaf Afrah”, which was composed by Khaled Ezz.

Angham’s latest artistic work is performing “Heneish Maa Baad” and “Kona Bndhk”, the theme song for Egyptian actress Zeina’s TV series “Gamaa Salem”.

The song is sponsored by Egypt’s Ministry of Health and aims to uplift people’s spirits with positivity amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Heneish Maa Baad” is by the lyrics of Amir Teima, and composed by Hisham Gamal.

It is worth mentioning that Angham, born on January 19, 1972, is an Egyptian singer, record producer, and actress.

She sang as a child, heralding the birth of a new musical generation. The superstar made her debut in 1987 under the guidance of her father, prominent Egyptian musician Mohamed Aly Suleiman.

Angham performed in public during Cairo’s Radio syndicate ceremony for the first time, as they were looking for new voices to artistically adopt them.

The star has released several albums the first of which was released in 1987. Her hit song called “La Lei Lei La Lei” has brought her much fame.

Angham’s fame in the entertainment industry has led her to experiment with other forms of media, such as film-making.

The star had made her acting debut in the 2013 TV series “Fe Ghamdet Ein” co-starring actress Dalia El Behery.

She is considered to be one of the most successful vocal female singers in Egypt and the Middle East.

In 2019, Rotana released album “Hala Khasa Gedan” consists of 14 songs, which includes six she collaborated with her former husband music distributor, Ahmed Ibrahim.

The superstar announced her marriage to the music distributor in the same year, following months of speculation over the nature of their relationship.

The marriage had sparked a great controversy between her fans and had caused many problems for the pair including, Angham losing her best friend, fellow superstar, Assala Nasri, and getting into conflicts with her elder son, Omar, while Ibrahim lost his first wife, Yasmine Issa.

They split a year after tying the knot. Some have speculated that it was due to Ibrahim’s post to his ex-wife on International Women’s Day, which carried a message of gratitude to her, as they unfollowed each other on Instagram afterward.

This was his first time to direct a message to his former wife since his marriage to the Egyptian superstar.
