Amr Saad's "The Goat" to Screen at El Gouna Film Festival

The highly-anticipated star-studded film “The Goat” will screen at the 6th edition of El Gouna Film Festival.

The title has secured a spot in the Official Selection - Out of Competition section of the festival, which will take place from October 13 to 20.

The film boasts an ensemble of talented actors, including Amr Saad, John Savage, Mira Sorvino, Sayed Ragab, Jessica Hossam, Maya Talem, and Arfah Abdulrasool.

"The Goat" focuses on many important societal issues, most notably child marriage and exposing fraudulent mineral water companies.

It is centered around Hadiya, a young girl targeted by a Western corporation's relentless greed as they seek control over her village's sole water source. With her loyal goat by her side, she embarks on a perilous journey through the desert in search of her missing father.

"The Goat" is written and directed by Italian filmmaker Ilaria Borrelli. It is supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture and co-production between Egypt, America, France, and Italy.

"The Goat" is produced by Agora Media Production, Domedo Productions, Orange Media, OSCAR Generale P.G.A, Cedars Art Production (Sabbah Brothers), and Pantheon Entertainment.
