Egyptian singer and composer Amr Mostafa recently underwent surgery after being diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor, which caused him to be absent from the spotlight during the past period.
Multiple news outlets reported that the surgery was successful, after which he resumed work on new projects.
Mustafa appeared behind the scenes recording the opening of Donia Samir Ghanem's TV series "Aicha Aldo", slated to be screened during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
Poet Ayman Bahgat Kamar shared an update on the composer's health, saying: "Amr is fine and is better now, thank God."
Kamar announced collaborating with Mostafa on the opening credits of "Aicha Aldo" and other songs on the show.
The series also stars Mohamed Kelany, Mohamed Tharwat, Fadwa Abed, and more.
Ahmed El Gendy directs the drama from a script he co-wrote with Karim Youssef. It consists of 15 episodes and is produced by Ahmed El Sobky.
"Aicha Aldor" marks Ghanem's comeback to the drama marathon after two years of absence. She made her last participation in the marathon with the 2023 TV series "Gat Salema".
