A new trailer for Amir Karara’s Ramadan TV series "Souq Canto" (Canto Market) has been released.
The drama takes place in ancient times at the time of the British occupation, portraying the romance between Karara and Mai Ezz El Din. It also highlights the difficulties of the trade market at that time.
Hani Sarhan directed the series from a script by Hussein El Menbawy.
The cast also includes Fathy Abdel Wahab, Abdel Aziz Makhyoun, Kamal Abu Rayya, and more.
Karara participated last Ramadan season with the TV series “Al Aedoon”, along with Amina Khalil, Mahmoud Abdel Moghni, Mohamed Farrag, Jihane Khalil, and others.
The series was written by Hala Khalil and directed by Amr Arafa.
The plot revolved around Egyptian intelligence confronting ISIS as well as highlights the roles of intelligence workers, including officers, communication experts, and secret agents, in protecting the homeland and eliminating terrorism.
