British comedy-drama film "Limbo" starring Egyptian actor Amir El-Masry will be screened on December 6, during the 42nd Cairo International Film Festival film screenings.
The film will compete in the official international competition. Directed by Ben Sharrock, the film revolves around Omar who is a promising young musician.
He is Separated from his Syrian family, then, he becomes stuck on a remote Scottish island awaiting the fate of his asylum request.
Last week, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) announced its 2020 BAFTA Breakthroughs list, which included Egyptian British award-winning actor, Amir El-Masry.
