Alireza Jafarzadeh, Deputy Director of the Washington Office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), stated that the rapid succession of developments on the battlefields across Iran—particularly following the death of "Khamenei the Executioner"—has placed the Velayat-e Faqih regime in its inevitable phase of final collapse. He emphasized that the Iranian Resistance is now the sole force capable of leading the transitional period.
In an interview with the American network Sinclair TV, Jafarzadeh said: "The daring attack carried out by the Resistance Units last week, which targeted Khamenei’s main headquarters, was not merely a military operation; it was a battlefield declaration of the end of the era of religious tyranny. This operation dealt massive blows to the ranks of the IRGC, which is already disintegrating following the death of the regime’s head."
He added: "The Mullahs squandered nearly $2 trillion of the oppressed Iranian people's wealth on a weapons of mass destruction program. This astronomical figure exceeds Iran's total oil revenues over the 47 years of their dark rule. This confirms that the regime considered the nuclear bomb its only guarantee for survival against the will of the people, before Operation 'Midnight Hammer' shattered these illusions and put an end to this global threat."
Jafarzadeh continued: "The NCRI, which had the honor of exposing the secret Natanz site in August 2002 and more than 130 other nuclear sites, warned the world for years against the West's policy of appeasement toward the Mullahs. Today, reality proves that the only force that confronted this regime in the streets and exposed its international conspiracies is the same force now leading the democratic change."
He explained: "Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the Resistance, has announced the formation of the Provisional Government based on her 10-point plan. This government aims to transfer full sovereignty to the Iranian people within six months through free and fair elections, establishing a democratic republic that completely blocks the return of any form of dictatorship, whether it be the Shah’s dictatorship or the Mullahs' dictatorship."
Jafarzadeh emphasized: "The strategy of 'No to the Shah, No to the Mullah' is the national compass around which the Resistance Units are rallying in all Iranian cities. Our people reject a return to the inherited tyranny of the past just as they have rejected the tyranny of the dead 'Supreme Leader.' The goal is a non-nuclear Iran, free from executions, and based on the separation of religion and state."
Jafarzadeh concluded his statement by saying: "The war currently ongoing in the streets of Iran is the final battle for liberation. Led by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi and her program—which guarantees the rights of nationalities and full equality for women—we are moving forward to implement the people’s rule through justice and law, ending the nightmare of Velayat-e Faqih forever."
