American actress, Alicia Silverstone has recently joined Netflix's crime thriller movie "Reptile".
The movie also stars Benicio Del Toro, Justin Timberlake, Michael Pitt, Ato Essandoh, Frances Fisher, Eric Bogosian, and others.
“Reptile” is helmed by music video director Grant Singer, which marks his feature directorial debut.
Singer is directing from a script he co-wrote along with Benjamin Brewer.
It revolves around a hardened detective investigating the brutal murder of a young real estate agent. In doing so, he finds himself dismantling the illusions in his own life.
Del Toro is executive producing the movie with Rachel Smith, while Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill, and Thad Luckinbill are producing for Black Label Media.
Silverstone is playing Del Toro’s wife, while Pitt stars as a man extremely obsessed over the murders that he begins a podcast around the case and entangled himself with the detective, and Essandoh as an officer working with Del Toro.
The actress will appear next in the comedy movie "Senior Year". Silverstone was recently seen in Netflix’s "The Baby-Sitters Club" series.
