Acclaimed Egyptian singer Ali Haggar will perform at the Grand Theater of Cairo Opera House, on April 6.
The concert is held as a part of "The Ramadan Nights" program.
Ali Haggar, accompanied by his band, will present some of his originals and TV theme songs as well as some classic oriental covers, including a number of traditional Islamic chants.
The well-known star will also perform a number of his notable songs including: “Dreams”, “Howida Elial”, “Maktobli”, “Excuse me”, and “Mafinash men Elkhof”.
El Haggar has been one of the best-known singers in Egypt and the Arab world over the past four decades, often singing lyrics drawn from the poetry of the late Salah Jahin, Abdel-Rahman El-Abnoudy, and Sayed Hegab.
He has also collaborated with some of the country's most renowned composers, such as Baligh Hamdy, Sayed Mekkawy, Omar Khairat, and Fathy Salama.
Among his most notable repertoire is "Cairo", ‘Amar Ya Askandria’, ‘Men Gheer Ma Tetkallemy’, ‘Bahebek’, and ‘Tegiesh N’eish.’
