Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune inaugurated the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at the 56th Algiers International Fair, where Oman is participating as guest of honor. The event is being held at the Exhibition Palace in Algiers and runs through June 28.
President Tebboune was accompanied by Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, during a tour of the 900-square-meter pavilion, which features more than 60 Omani companies and institutions from various sectors including industry, commerce, and services, alongside several government entities.
Oman's participation highlights the deepening economic and diplomatic ties between the two nations, following the state visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Algeria in May, which marked a new chapter of comprehensive bilateral cooperation.
The Omani pavilion showcases a broad range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, real estate, fisheries, tourism, transportation, electrical conversions, food products, and traditional handicrafts.
