Algerian fashion designer Ilham Kharbach debuted her new Eid collection, which comes during the spring season.
The collection was inspired by spring with its colors and flowers; it featured bright-colored dresses that suited women of all ages.
“Everyone celebrates the holiday in Algeria while wearing new clothes, which is why I was keen to make the collection suitable for everyone, whether for a bride in her new home and welcoming her and her husband’s family or for the engaged woman who is expecting her fiancé’s family at the house, also the mother, the sister, and the rest of the family get to wear a new Eid dress,” Kharbach noted.
The designer relied on different fabrics such as satin, colored silk, foulard, lace, plain tulle, and brocade tulle, which are all luxurious and rich materials that resulted in sophisticated designs.
*Eid and Spring come together
The spring was the source of inspiration for the collection. The collection was also inspired by the bright colors of spring, which featured fuchsia, green, salmon, and floral, the latter was presented with crystals, fabric, and thread.
Kharbach relied on mixing more than one material in a design. She depended on thin and loose materials in the sleeves, which came in the form of light ruffles that have beauty and elegance.
