Bahgat Al-Obeidi, the Egyptian writer based in Austria, and the founder of the World Federation of Egyptian Citizens Abroad, said that the appointment of Ghada Wali as the new director-general of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) represents a culmination of the Egyptian diplomatic efforts.

“This Egyptian success in the diplomatic field is clearly reflected in the balanced relations that Egypt maintains with its various circles at the Arab, Islamic, African, Middle Eastern and international levels,” Al-Obeidi added noting that Egypt plays an influential role in these circles pushing the whole world to respect the Egyptian state and personalities so the international organizations choose them.

Al-Obeidi congratulated Egypt's Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali and the Egyptian foreign ministry as well, as it implements the general policy laid down by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

“Through this policy, Egypt achieves a leading position locally, regionally and internationally,” the Egyptian writer confirmed.

He also congratulated Egypt on this high position and wished Dr. Ghada Wali success.
