Mansouri Receives Malaysian Medal of Honor

In the presence of officials and public figures in Malaysia, international fashion designer Mona al Mansouri received a medal of honor for her achievements in the world of fashion.

Al Mansouri has been considered one of the most influential figures across the Middle East and the world for her designs which are inspired by nature and for being the first Arab designer to convey humanitarian and social messages through her designs.

Nonetheless, she seeks to promote and boost tourism throughout the Arab World.

"I am proud to have brought the Emirati fashion to the international arena," Al Mansouri said, expressing her great happiness after receiving the medal of honor.

She added: "I am proud that I have highly represented my country through the achievements I accomplished and I am happy that I was able to document the fashion of the UAE around the world, as well as its culture, civilization and the history of its people."

In a statement, Mona Al Mansouri expressed her happiness with the new honor, saying, “I am proud to have brought Emirati fashion to all international fora.
