Al Ahly Starts Talks in signing Ceramica Cleopatra’s Mohamed Shokry

Ceramica Cleopatra FC head coach Ahmed Samy revealed that Al Ahly SC have opened negotiations to sign defender Mohamed Shoukry to the club.

Al Ahly have already secured deals for Smouha right-back Khaled Abdel-Fattah as well as Etoile du Sahel goal machine Mohamed Dhaoui.

Ceramica Cleopatra mentioned that Al Ahly also began talks to sign highly-rated Ceramica Cleopatra left-back Mohamed Shokry in the current transfer window.

Shokry has been in stellar form for Ceramica this season scoring once and providing five assists in 10 Egyptian Premier League games.

However, Ceramica boss Ahmed Samy revealed that he has rejected the idea of Shokry’s departure this month and wants to wait until the summer.

“It is true that we have been contacted by Al Ahly to talk about a move for Mohamed Shokry,” Samy said.

“I rejected the idea for now, but we will discuss the matter again at the end of the season. My plan is to build a Ceramica team for the future.”
