Ahmed Mekky Introduces Fans to His New Parrot

Actor-singer, Ahmed Mekky revealed on social media that he had welcomed a new parrot into his family who he named “Zeinhom.”

The “H. Dabbour” star posted a video of himself on Instagram and captioned: “my new son (Zeinhom) says hello to the sweetest people."

Mekky posted previously many videos of himself with his many pets, which included falcon, pigeon, puppy, rabbit, parrot, and a squirrel.

It is worth mentioning that Mekky is a popular Egyptian-Algerian actor, writer, director, and rapper. He was born in Algeria to an Algerian father and an Egyptian mother but grew up in Egypt.

He began his career in cinema as short films director after graduating from the Institute of Cinema, such as “Yabanee Asly” (An Original Japanese) before directing in 2005 film “Al Hassa Al Sab’a” (The Seventh Sense), co-starring Ahmed Al Fishawy, which was adapted from a short film that Mekky had previously directed in 2003.

He had also collaborated with his sister Inas Mekky in directing several television productions, including “Lahazat Harija” (Crucial Moments), and “Tamer wa Shawqiyah” (Tamer and Shawqiyah), in which he also played the role of Haitham Dabour.

Mekky has found success as a slapstick, comedic actor, however, along with his career in cinema, Mekky has also continued his stardom with writing and performing rap songs, which that he performed in movies or uploads onto the internet.

He is known for his roles in 2008 film “H. Dabbour”, in 2009 film “Teer enta”, 2010 TV series “Al Kabeer”, and 2010 film “La Tarago Wa La Esteslam”.
