Egyptian actor, Ahmed Helmy will begin shooting his new film "X" after Eid al-Adha holidays.
"X" is a social comedy genre scripted by Haitham Dabour and directed by Mohamed Shaker Khudair.
Plot details are being kept under wraps and no casting announcements have been made yet.
Dabour is currently holds working sessions with the cast of the film in preparation for the shooting.
The film is not a follow-up to Helmy's 2011 hit film “X-Large”.
"X" marks the actor's comeback to the big screen after two years of absence.
Helmy last film was 2019's “Khayal Maata”.
It also starred Menna Shalaby, Khaled El Sawy, Bayoumi Fouad, Entsar, Samy Maghawry, Mahmoud El-Lisy, Yasser El Tobgy, Hassan Hosny, Lotfy Labib, Abdelrahman Abo Zahra, Rashwan Tawfek, and others.
The film was penned by Abdul Rahim Kamal and directed by Khaled Marei.
