One person was killed and several others were injured in an explosion that took place in Mazar-i-Sharif, northern Afghanistan on Monday.
The Afghan Aamaj News said that the explosion took place in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, killing one person and wounding several others.
The causes of the explosion are not yet clear, and the authorities started to investigate, the News added.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for this attack.
Afghanistan has witnessed from time to time attacks, explosions, and security incidents since the Taliban took control over the country, while the movement blames most of the bombing on the terrorist organization ISIS.
