Taliban announced "miscreants and former notorious soldiers" in the ranks of the movement, according to Mohammad Yaqoob, son of the Taliban founder and acting minister of defense.
Yaqoob recalled that the movement has announced general amnesty.
After the victory of this move against the Western-backed government in Afghanistan last month, the movement has reproached some commanders and fighters for misconduct, saying that abuses are not tolerated.
In an audio message, Mohammed Yaqoob, the acting Minister for Defense, said that some Taliban units were allowed to join a series of "malignants and notorious former soldiers" in which they committed a number of violent abuse.
"We direct you to keep them out of your ranks, otherwise strict action will be taken against you," he stated. "We don't want such people in our ranks."
