Aden Car Bomb Targeting Officials Kills 2 People (Video)

A large explosion shook Yemen's southern port city of Aden on Sunday after a vehicle exploded, killing four people.

Reports revealed that the explosion targeted a convoy of the city’s governor and a minister, affirming that they both survived but there have been casualties.

Minister of Agriculture Salem Al-Socotri was also targeted in the blast, according to sources. Four security guards were injured in the deadly explosion.

Meanwhile, police and ambulances rushed to the site of the explosion.

The convoy of Ahmed Hamed Lamles, the governor of Aden, was targeted while it was passing through the interim capital’s Tawahi district, according to the reports.

Photos and videos showed plumes of smoke rising from the blast scene, while there were no other details of the attack.
