The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, congratulated Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on the formation of the new government.
Aboul Gheit wrote on his personal account on the (X) platform: "I congratulate Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on forming the first government under President Joseph Aoun. Wishing the new government success in achieving what Lebanon and the Lebanese people need."
