Abou El-Enein: Sisi's Achievements "Observed" throughout Country, in All Fields

Mohamed Abou El-Enein, Deputy Speaker and President of the Egyptian-Portuguese Business Council praised the level of economic and diplomatic relations between Egypt and Portugal, especially after President's Abdel Fattah el-Sisi's visit to the southern European country.

Aboul El-Enein remarks came on Saturday during a joint session of the Egyptian-Portuguese Business Council, in which he said that the tremendous achievements made by President Sisi can be observed everywhere in Egypt, as they are well persified between different fields and sectors.

He added that the new administrative capital is three times the size of Paris, and is witnessing an architectural boom that has not occurred for several years in the country, pointing out that it is an integrated city with all modern technologies, which includes an embassy district and a financial and business districts.

The president of the Egyptian-Portuguese Business Council presented a summary of what Egypt enjoys of customs exemptions with the African continent and the Arab world, making it a perfect destination for investments, especially after looking at the volume of new explorations of natural gas and precious metals, especially gold.

Abou El-Enein stressed that Egypt is not a traditional market, but rather a strong emerging market, which enjoys huge potential, and great opportunities for Portuguese investors.

He also praised the Portuguese side's keenness to attend economic exhibitions held in Egypt, to review possible cooperation with the Egyptian side.

On her part, the Portuguese ambassador to Cairo Manuela Franco confirmed that she was keen, since her arrival in Cairo, to meet with the deputy speaker to get acquainted with the sectors in which the Egyptian and Portuguese sides could cooperate.
