MP Mohamed Abou El Enein decided on Tuesday to offer a financial reward worth EGP 10,000 for each Thanaweya Amma top student, who achieved high scores.
In statements, Abou El Enein expressed his happiness for their great success amid exceptional circumstances due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
The prominent businessman hailed the Egyptian youth's ability to overcome the current challenges, calling on them for continuing their path of success at their universities.
"The financial rewards represent my admiration for the successful Egyptian students," Abou El Enein pointed out, congratulating them on their scores.
Abou El Enein also hailed the State's efforts, under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, to render the exams this year successful that witnessed strict precautionary measures against the virus to maintain the students' health.
Abou El Enein congratulated Education Minister Tarek Shawki on organizing the exams in difficult times, a matter which made Egypt one of the few countries that were able to challenge the pandemic and complete the academic year.
Earlier today, Shawki announced the names of the Thanaweya Amma top students.
According to statistics, the percentage of success reached 81.5%, and the number of students who received the highest marks totaled 39; 30 students in public education.
Moreover, Assuit governorate students secured the first four ranks.
The top students’ list featured 12 students in the scientific pision, 13 students in the scientific-mathematical pision, and 14 students in the literary pision.
